Delete your StepRank account

Applies to the StepRank app by Riso Development on iOS and Android.

Option 1: Delete in the app (instant)

  1. Open StepRank and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email contact@risodevelopment.com from the address on your StepRank account with the subject "Delete my StepRank account". We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile (name, email, avatar, location, bio).
  • Your entire step history and any health data we stored.
  • Group memberships, chat messages you sent, streaks, badges, and XP.
  • Push notification tokens for your devices.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Anonymized, aggregated statistics that no longer identify you may be retained. Subscription billing records are kept by Apple or Google under their own policies; cancel any active subscription in the App Store or Google Play before deleting so you are not charged again.

Health data

Deleting your account removes the step data StepRank copied from Apple Health or Health Connect. It does not change the data in Apple Health or Health Connect itself. To stop StepRank reading new data without deleting your account, revoke its permission in Health Connect (Android) or Settings → Health (iOS).
